  • Adirondack chairs and sand facing bay floor-to-ceiling windows -inside of the renovated pier. The commercial fit-out project included special details and seaside touches, like this seating area facing the boardwalk ocean for guests to watch the sunset.

  • Fountain show featuring lights music and reactive games to people walking inside Pier at Caesars

The now-removed fountain was an interactive water show that changed colors, speed and could at times follow people as they walked near the jets.

  • Inside three-story atrium entrance facing the boardwalk

The Gordon Group hired Becker & Frondorf to oversee the transformation of an abandoned commercial pier into a luxury retail-dining-entertainment destination, The Pier at Caesars, at the center of the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. The 900-foot-long property extends over the ocean and was expanded to four-stories of retail and dining space. A sky bridge connecting the renovated 575,000-square-foot pier to the Caesar’s Casino allowed visitors continuous sheltered access to an additional four casinos and three hotels, making the entire “retail-entertainment complex” the largest of its kind on the East Coast. The Gordon Group brought Becker & Frondorf in during the construction phase to assist them in overseeing the enormous renovation and commercial fit-out project as it unfolded and retained B&F through the project’s completion. The Pier at Caesars has now been re-branded, since changing owners, as The Playground to better reflect the changing tastes of its clientele.
