Bill Becker and John Frondorf, both trained as architects, founded the firm in 1998 with the ultimate goal of protecting an owner's interests during construction projects. Dedicated to advocating on their clients' behalf, they worked for many prominent companies and institutions in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Over $1B in projects managed and 5,500+ cost estimates later, B&F has served clients across the country and around the world. Today’s Becker & Frondorf is neither a large corporation nor a sole proprietor—we are a diverse team of industry veterans whose collective expertise and proactive management style allow us to deliver extraordinary client experiences and transformative projects.
We customize our approach to suit each client and every project has principal-level involvement. Understanding that groups of people are smarter than any individual, we employ a team-based approach to project management, cultivating positive working relationships among the entire project team which ultimately yields dividends for our clients.
We manage design and construction projects as the Owner's Representative. Our job is to advocate for your interests while you focus on your day-to-day responsibilities. We pay close attention to budgets and contracts to help you make strategic decisions and keep your project moving forward.
Every phase of a project benefits from a clear understanding of costs. B&F is a trusted third-party resource for architects, engineers, and owners seeking reliable cost estimates to help guide the design process. Our consistent involvement leads to informed decision-making.
Led by Partners Charlie Moleski, Joe Malinowski, and Mike Zaidel, B&F is a group of first-class problem solvers. We are recovering architects, geeky engineers, and construction gurus with backgrounds in urban planning, non-profit finance, and beyond.
