Artisanal Owner’s Representation for a Philadelphia Icon

Reading Terminal Market

The hustle and bustle of the Reading Terminal Market is what makes this Philadelphia icon one of the most memorable places in the city. It also made a program of renovations challenging and complex. Construction had to guarantee public safety and maintain the Market’s business operations, while meeting the budget. Renovations included a new demonstration kitchen named the Rick Nichols Room, the creation of new vendors’ booths, and upgrades to the Market’s infrastructure. Throughout the project, B&F worked closely with the Market’s staff, its vendors, and the Contractor to create a twelve-phase implementation plan, and to make sure the construction went as smoothly as possible.
