B&F provided project management services for the interior renovations of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (PCOM) Cambria and Lancaster community healthcare centers in North and West Philadelphia. Funded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, the project focused on updating and modernizing these existing facilities to better serve patients and staff.
The scope included selective demolition, upgrades to finishes, doors, frames, and hardware, as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modifications. B&F coordinated all systems improvements to ensure seamless integration with clinical operations while accommodating future technology, audiovisual, and security needs.
Our team played a central role in managing compliance with RACP requirements. This involved coordinating the application process, maintaining detailed documentation of expenditures, and ensuring all work aligned with funding guidelines. Regular reporting, progress verification, and cost tracking were critical to securing reimbursement and meeting program compliance standards throughout construction.
B&F also managed scheduling, contractor coordination, and site inspections to ensure renovations were completed on time, within budget, and according to PCOM’s operational requirements. The updated health centers provide functional, modern spaces that enhance patient care and staff efficiency. This project highlights B&F’s expertise in delivering technically complex, RACP-compliant renovations for community healthcare facilities while maintaining a focus on operational continuity and long-term usability.
