Friends Child Care Center
B&F represented Friends Child Care Center (FCCC) during their relocation as a tenant to the Friends Center building in Philadelphia. Moving to a larger space allowed FCCC to accommodate additional enrollment and future growth. We led lease negotiations with the landlord and our Project Manager liaised with the design team during pre-construction to help ensure FCCC’s programmatic needs were met, and cost decisions were made collaboratively.
Ensuring a Smooth Transition to Their New Space
The B&F team participated in all construction phase meetings with the general contractor to protect FCCC’s interests and inspected construction work regularly to ensure quality and schedule were maintained. We also coordinated FCCC’s direct purchases and their installation, allowing for a smooth transition and move-in once construction was finished so that FCCC was ready to welcome children and their families to their new location.
